About this movie

Ridley Scott's definitive Blade Runner: The Final Cut (2007) includes extended scenes and new special effects. Harrison Ford stars in this fascinating, dark vision of the near future as a policeman who tracks engineered humans--a Blade Runner. In the year 2019, the police department forces Rick Deckard (Ford) out of retirement to hunt four genetically engineered humans who have come to earth. Designed to do difficult, hazardous work, the manufactured humans are stronger, faster and smarter than non engineered humans. They feel no pain or remorse; they are almost indistinguishable from other humans ... and they are killing people. Now Deckard must stop them before they kill again.

The graphics are great, they did a great job of making this edition look really good. The sound was flawless. HOWEVER... The voice over is gone, and so you dont get the explanation of what language Edward James Olmos was speaking and why he spoke it, you dont get an explanation of Roy's behavior at the very end, and you dont get any idea about what Decker and Rachael do or where they are going after the story ends. There was a scene at the end where they are in a car driving away from the city. Thats been removed. All in all, if you only care about visual aspects, this is the best one. But if you care about the story, skip this one. Wish I could get my money back, but I dont think "Lack of a monologue" would be sufficient reason.

I purchased this as HD and it surely is not HD. The file size is way small and when I play it on my Samsung Galaxy s4, which has an impressive HD screen, it looks horrible. There are artifacts and pixelated garbage all over it. It looks like someone hacked the movie and made an illegal copy. Purchase this with CAUTION. I'm trying to get a refund - plus they billed me twice for the one download. I'm VERY DISSATISFIED. (Great movie though, just this copy stinks)

I understand that this movie is a "classic" to some people, but I found the plot to be hollow to nonexistent. A good movie will make the beginning and middle of the film interesting enough so that you will want to see all the lose ends tired up in the end. In this particular movie, there were no lose ends to tie up at all. I didn't even watch the last 10 minutes due to extreme boredom.
