I loved the first one but this one is even better. It digs deeper into the story and I always love a good story of how it all began and who started it all. The sequel dives deeper into all of that telling us whose behind this virus and how it started. They gave us hints about the virus in the first movie with the news articles on the walls of the apartment building. If you stop and read them it'll talk about a doomsday cult Armageddon virus. This movie goes a bit deeper into that story. Aside from those details, another plus to this movie how terrifyingly intense it was, it felt so claustrophobic and horrifying with the infected chasing them down. Very good sequel right here. They say sequels aren't any good to the originals....well think again, this movie is awesome and even more frightening than the first movie that digs deeper into the Quarantine story. Really think they should make a 3rd Quarantine and call it The Quarantine Trilogy.

I was hoping it would show what happens to the reporter at the end of the Spanish version on Rec2 but no luck. I guess the world was run amok by her crazy 'puppets'....I was hoping for it to connect in Quarantine 2.
