A so-so rom-com with choppy transitions, weak story line, lots of drinking and little to offer. Twenty years widowed, Carol apparently did nothing during those years. Then her dog dies and she strikes up a relationship with a pool guy half her age. Her pals try to cheer her up by taking her speed dating which does nothing. She meets Bill and hooks up only to dash the pool guy's heart. Bill dies almost as soon as he appeared. The gal pals get stoned and shop for a ton of munchies. A moment for comedy was missed at the checkout. On the way home, they are stopped by a cop in a totally useless scene that made no sense and added nothing to the story. The story jumps around so much that you don't know if a day passed or a month. Carol's daughter visits and adds nothing to the story. The pool guy returns. The gal pals decide to take a crazy adventure but then Carol gets a new dog. The end leaves everything hanging. Did they go on their adventure? Did she hook up with the pool guy? The story essentially started the whole movie over. I was underwhelmed!

One of the worst movies I have seen to date. Not because of the acting or the production, but because of the story itself. It is saddening to see a widow whose begone husband left her every support she would possibly need to be so self centered and useless to society. The main character is so selfish that even her own daughter had to remind her of the good stuff in her life. The widow in question is a healthy lady who, without any financial or other worries in life but a house mouse, could be fulfilling her life in very positive ways as an example to those less fortunate than her. Instead, every other scene of the movie shows her either drinking wine - lots of wine - or smoking pot ... I am sad to see that the movie is basically a reflection of the "'I-me-myself" society we live in. But that won't stop me from absolutely not liking the movie - no positive message at all. Such a waste of my time and money.

What a disappointing non-eventful film. It's described as a comedy yet you find yourself waiting the entire movie for something funny to happen. Just a waste of time.
