About this movie

Having braved the treacherous seas most of their lives|three retired captains (David Carradine|Rip Torn and Bruce Dern) are now faced with their toughest challenge ever: living together. The three agree to advertise for a reliable|able-bodied woman to cook|care and keep the house. The Catch is: one of them will have to marry her so the other two can unk for free. But their plans quickly capsize when lovely|strong-willed Martha (Mariel Hammingway) agrees to sign on as first mate in this delightfully romantic family comedy.
