An all-night party in an après-ski tavern takes a turn for the worse when a scientist’s experiment goes terribly wrong leading to an all out zombie invasion. It’s the definition of a snowy zombie nightmare with an extreme sports twist. It mixes a unique style of genre with a very lively and fun cast to make for a very amusing film. The chemistry between the characters made the movie appear more realistic and relatable. It was exceedingly well delivered and worth the watch.

With an intense, comedic, spin off of “Dead Snow”, “Attack of the Lederhosen Zombies”, was an indie horror that surpassed my original thoughts I had on this film. Before watching, I knew zombies were going to be a major focal point but I wasn’t sure how they were going to incorporate it. But the great Dominik Hartl did a fantastic job creating a unique film that had me laughing yet interested all the whole time.

If ever there was a movie that came out of left field, Attack of the Lederhosen Zombies is it. I don’t know where this wacky zombie comedy came from but I’m so glad that it exists. In a genre that is usually very predictable, Attack of the Lederhosen Zombies is somehow able to constantly surprise you. The cast is composed of an incredible collection of foreign actors, who have a lot of great back-and-forth banter much like the witty dialogue in a Coen Brothers’ film. This film has easily become one of my favorite hidden gems of the past year so I highly recommend giving it a watch.
