Daniel Radcliffe stars as Ig Perrish, a young man suspected of raping and murdering his girlfriend, Merrin (Juno Temple). After a night of binge drinking, Ig wakes up to find devil-like horns sprouting from his head. These horns draw the attention of the townspeople, who seem compelled by some strange power to confess their sins to Ig. This supernatural ability will come in handy as Ig searches for his girlfriend’s killer. Alexandre Aja directs this darkly comedic thriller based on the book by Joe Hill. Ratings and reviews

While the movie's shtick is fun and visually nice, the film is kind of nonsensical. You're left expecting that at some point it will all make sense. For a horror romance, there's too little romance development, and on the horror side, the climaxes descend into slapstick.
