A brainless cartoony safari with tons of rude mean behavior & decent comedy humor. There are moments where the pacing of the dialogue is way too fast. The story/plot may be an insteresting trip, but somtimes it lacks focus & it makes no sense at all. There are also 2 bits that are slow-paced & annoying. The live animals were mistreated in the making of this film. The crocodiles were actually alligators, the mother lion is actually a male lion, the elephants were actually asian elephants, & the giant orangatan is actually a guy in a gorilla suit. Orangutans don't live in africa. There are moments where the animals are costumes and animatronics which shows the kids that the movie is fake/not real, But if it does, the kids may be fine & relaxed but than they will become bored and not interested. All the characters are unlikable: stanley has a big fat fear of animals & when bold, he gets himself into trouble. Buzz is very rude to stanley & faints all the time when he is scared. Here's the positive: this movie has great cartoony direction, the music is big, whimsical, & plays at appropriate times. Overall: a dumb unlikable lackluster that should be locked up in a cage.
