Tutu has led a fascinating, inspiring life. Unfortunately the director & narrator of this documentary don't do his amazing story justice. The film just has a "this happened, then this, then that" sort of feel throughout. Still worth watching (though I couldn't help but fast forward past the stories at the end about the kids Tutu inspired).

So amazing.....thank you for sharing your Mom's film. Please tell her congratulations from me, and to all of you who have been dedicating your lives as well. Yes, every person needs to see this film and understand how impactful and important Desmond Tutu and Nelson Mandela are to the world. Makes me want to help! We should never underestimate the power of one person, and even more powerful, community, faith, and courage. I saw a sign in London yesterday which said, "Do Something That You Are Afraid Of Every Day!" This documentary gives me personal courage to get involved. Thank you!!

"Children of the Light" is a gift to everyone who sees it. We are invited into Archbishop Tutu's life story and experience the immediacy of his passion for justice and love for all of us, no matter who we are, or what we've done in this world for good or bad. This film brings us face to face with this man who inspires each and every one of us to make a difference for someone else in our world, and to think that way each and every day.
