I saw it in the theater in 1986 and it was absolutely fantastic.it was so wild and it seemed so realistic that you felt like you were there in it with the boy. The little boy was just so adorable and he made you like him instantly. I would love to see a remake of the movie now with more special effects and more Syfy put in it.I would watch it I am such a fan of Disney and such a fan of navigator I would love to see a remake. The movie made me feel like I was a kid again. I just wanted to be the.

A classic. The effects are bad now and the child acting can be quite weak, but the overall production is strong and has a heavy E. T. Feel to it.

Good movie, I love the concept. However, I would like to point out that Paul Reubens was not an actor in the movie as it is advertised in the credits, only his voice was used, it was "Max" the spaceship's computer.
