I absolutely loved this movie. The Rezort is a diamond in the rough. Yes, its like Jurassic Park with zombies, although I think that gives this movie some of its charm, and The Rezort does an EXCELLENT job at making everything very unique; as it has many twists that I didn't expect, good acting, very good production value, and is nowhere near close to a "B" movie...in fact it was way better than most of the Hollywood garbage that goes into US theaters every month these days. I honestly don't understand the haters...but everyone is a brutal critic and keyboard-warrior these days, right? I found this movie to be just as good, perhaps slightly better, than the Dawn of the Dead remake...even on par with the Resident Evil films. So I suppose if you dislike the two aforementioned franchises, then you might not like this movie. If you are a zombie fan however, then I strongly urge you to watch this movie as you shouldn't be disappointed at all. If you like science fiction, horror, Jurassic Park, and zombies, then this movie will most definitely excite you. I'll go as far as to say the following too... I'm a gigantic zombie and post-apocalypse sci-fi fan; and I'm pretty sure that I've seen every zombie movie and show that is available via streaming/purchase, and independent via YouTube or other sites...Therefore, I have become generally desensitized to any jump scares or zombie attacks and the like...BUT 'The Rezort' actually had me feeling genuinely creeped out at about 3/4 through the film when the characters had to go somewhere dark (I won't ruin it for you, but you'll know what I mean when you watch it). I don't know what it was, but I sincerely (breifly) felt the pressure and anxiety that the characters faced in their predicament. From that point on, along with some cool story developments, I remained hooked until the end. I loved this movie. I wish this movie had released to U.S. theaters and recieved more attention. Heck, if the movie 28 Days Later got U.S. theater time, then The Rezort definitely deserved the same treatment. I'm also sad I didn't bother watching this movie until 2018... I mainly held off on watching this movie due to reading other haters' reviews of the movie and I'm kind of board with watching bad zombie movies (there's a lot of bad zombie movies out there and I've suffered through 98% of them). This movie was a wonderful surprise for me, and I regret not having seen this movie sooner; as its now in my top-10 list of favorite zombie flicks. Also, if you're a Resident Evil video game fan, you should remember (or Google/YouTube) the game Dino Crisis, which was also made by Capcom and is literally Resident Evil with dinosaurs, similar to Jurassic Park...and this movie kind of hit home for me on both fronts of R.E. and Dino Crisis regarding the survival horror, and it made me love The Rezort even more. A+ and 10/10 stars for this genre.

Good concept, bad acting, bad script, bad plot, the kind of movie that you might watch drunk and with friends to keep you entertained. Like that Fyre Festival, full of annoying clueless people. *edit: 2 stars was too kind

I love Zombie movies. Though hokey in parts, it has a great story, good acting, and great special effects. It left it open for a sequel, which I think would be awesome.
