Pamela, suddenly plagued by doubts, leaves her husband-to-be at the altar. She is chided by Grandma Pearl, who prods her to get married and produce some children. Pamela's second suitor, Pastor Brown, won't permit her to pursue her dream of singing in jazz clubs. Her friend Jackson tells her to follow her heart.
