Fun family movie This movie captures real family life challenges and turns them into great comedy scenes. I also like that there is no real bad language and that the movie is appropriate for a wide age range.
The comic misadventures of the beleaguered Griswold family continue in this latest "Vacation" outing, the third and most successful of the series. This time America's most dedicated dad (Chevy Chase) is determined to stay at home to create "the most fun-filled old fashioned family Christmas ever" -- but life has a particular way of throwing wet logs on Clark Griswold's fire. Look for Emmy and Golden Globe-winner Julia Louis-Dreyfus (TV's "Seinfeld") in a supporting role. Written by John Hughes ("Home Alone" series). MPAA Rating: PG-13 (c) 1989 A Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. All Rights Reserved
A tremendously funny all-star cast is assembled by director Harold Ramis ("Analyze This," "Caddyshack") to populate "Club Paradise," a free-wheeling Club Med-style resort where a sun-filled, fun-filled time is guaranteed for all. Oscar-winner Robin Williams ("Happy Feet," "Night at the Museum") runs the place -- or does it run him? -- playing host to the eccentric guests and the none-too-saner employees, not to mention the baffled locals. Featuring Oscar-honoree Peter O'Toole ("Venus," "Lawrence of Arabia"); Eugene Levy ("For Your Consideration," "A Mighty Wind"), Rick Moranis ("Little Shop of Horrors," "Ghostbusters"), Andrea Martin ("The Producers," "My Big Fat Greek Wedding"), '60s supermodel Twiggy ("The Blues Brothers"), "Saturday Night Live" alumni Mary Gross ("A Might Wind"), Robin Duke ("Multiplicity") and Brian Doyle-Murray ("Groundhog Day"), and reggae legend Jimmy Cliff, whose music provides the beat to the island fun.
When Bob Ho (Jackie Chan) is called to babysit his neighbor's unruly children, they accidentally blow his cover as a spy by downloading secret codes on his computer. Suddenly Bob has to kick into super agent mode and take the kids on an action- packed adventure that turns suburbia upside down. Bob fights off assassins and arch villains, narrowly escapes traps and outsmarts double-agents while somehow managing to keep the kids out of harm's way.
Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels reprise their signature roles as Lloyd and Harry in the sequel to the smash hit that took the physical comedy and kicked it in the nuts: Dumb and Dumber To. The original film’s directors, Peter and Bobby Farrelly, take Lloyd and Harry on a road trip to find a child Harry never knew he had and the responsibility neither should ever, ever be given. Along for the ride are co-stars Kathleen Turner, Laurie Holden, and Rob Riggle. - 2014 Universal Studios. All Rights Reserved.
Two best friends - one unlucky-in-love divorcee (Robin Williams) and the other a fun-loving bachelor (John Travolta) - have their lives turned upside down when they're unexpectedly charged with the care of six-year-old twins while on the verge of the biggest business deal of their lives. The not-so-kid-savvy bachelors stumble in their efforts to take care of the twins (Ella Blue Travolta and Conner Rayburn), leading to one debacle after another, and perhaps to a new-found understanding of what's really important in life.
From the creators of "Caddyshack," "Animal House" and "Groundhog Day" comes this #1 boxoffice hit that spawned two sequels! Chevy Chase mans the wheel and convinces his all-American family that the way to really enjoy their holiday is to hit the road west for Wally World. And so the Griswalds take us in their station wagon on the ultimate comic cross-country trip full of laughs, landmarks, falling asleep at the wheel, and just how to deal with annoying Aunt Edna's (Imogene Coca, "Your Show of Shows") untimely fate in the middle of the "perfect" vacation. Featuring the hysterically zany cast of John Candy ("Cool Runnings," "Planes, Trains & Automobiles"), fellow SCTV alumn and Emmy-winner Eugene Levy ("Father of the Bride"), Saturday Night Live alumns Anthony Michael Hall ("The Breakfast Club"), Brian Doyle-Murray ("Groundhog Day") and Oscar-nominee Randy Quaid ("The Paper"), and supermodel Christie Brinkley. MPAA Rating: R (c) 1983 Warner Bros Entertainment Inc. All Rights Reserved.
Director Amy Heckerling ("Clueless," "Look Who's Talking") brings America's favorite family back again in the sequel to one of the most successful comedies of all time. This boxoffice smash takes you along on the Griswald family's wacky misadventures through Europe. Joining the always hysterical Chevy Chase ("Caddyshack," "Fletch," "Three Amigos") are Beverly D'Angelo ("Maid to Order") as his wife, Dana Hill ("Shoot the Moon") as his homesick daughter and Jason Lively, living up to his name, as his sex-crazed son. Screenplay by John Hughes ("Home Alone" films), Robert Klane ("Unfaithfully Yours") and Monty Python alumn Eric Idle ("Casper"). MPAA Rating: PG-13 1985 Waner Bros. All Rights Reserved.
