Set in an African slum, an ambitious market girl meets and falls in love with a boy from the other side of town and tries to cross the class divide, but the social gap is over powering and starts a chain of event that neither of them is prepared for.

What an amazing film! It really opened my eyes about what is going on in Africa right now. Every should take the time to really watch this movie and really take it in. On top of that, it's just a great story! The plot, about love and class, is engaging and moving. The performances are great, from the leads, Joselyn Dumas and Enyinna Nwigwe, to the smallest parts. Plus, the visuals are stunning! I couldn't keep my eyes off it. You really need to watch this on a big screen; don't stream it to your phone. Pull it up on your TV to get the full scope.

An interesting take on a forbidden romance. I'm always a fan of seeing different cultures in stories I watch and this one didn't disappoint.

Well-crafted film. Definitely recommend.
