About this movie

When the New York child performer CC Bloom and San Francisco rich kid Hillary meet in a holiday resort in Atlantic City, it marks the start of a lifetime friendship between them. The two keep in touch through letters for a number of years until Hillary, now a successful lawyer moves to New York to stay with struggling singer CC. The movie shows the various stages of their friendship and their romances including their love for the same man.

love this film. I love the music. I love the emotions. Everything. It was short and sweet, but there wasn't alot of drama and emotions shown before the...and there wasn't an emotional finding out of..... Your have to see the film. One of my new favorite films. 4 stars maybe 4 and a half.

When i first saw this movie about maybe 6 years ago , i fell in love with it . But their is one particular song that makes me cry @ some point in the movie .

I first watched Beaches when I was 2 and fell in love with instantly! Since in first saw it its been my favorite movie and Bette Midler as my favorite singer\actress
