It all started when Ran Mori lost her smartphone. Shinichi Kudo, her would-be boyfriend, promises to replace it, but the high schooler is already making his name as a consulting detective for the police; when he abruptly leaves her karate tournament to skillfully solve a high-society murder case, Shinichi's going to have a take Ran on a special date to get back on her good side. A colorful amusement park beckons-- and so does a horrifying act of homicide!

Possibly the greatest detective/mystery anime EVER!!! This movie expands on the original season 1 anime with more of the backstory between Shinchi and Ran, the mysterious and lethal Black Organization, and the tie ins between the tv and movie series. My whole family and I want MORE! It's going to be the teasers at the end that will leave fans clamoring for more. The Moonlight Sonota Murder Mystety DEFINITELY deserves a retelling like this. I would give more stars if I could.
