About this movie

Brit (Ashley Benson), Candy (Vanessa Hudgens), Cotty (Rachel Korine) and Faith (Selena Gomez) have been best friends since grade school, trying to save enough money for spring break. Still short of cash, three of them hold up a restaurant using toy guns in order to get to Florida for two weeks of fun. After a few days of partying, the girls get arrested during a police raid and land up in jail. Bailed out by local drug dealer Alien (James Franco), they soon find themselves in over their heads when their mentor introduces them to the wonders of an addictively dangerous spring break they will never forget.

Ratings and reviews

I think i'm too old to appreciate such films. I watched spring breakers and thought the concept was interesting, although it seemed to be lost in what it was trying to achieve, what was the point of the film, was there any? At the time of viewing I felt compelled to get up and leave the room. The only thing that kept me in front of the box was sheer laziness. I'd not bother watching this again. Acting was ok, effects were ok, and the characters lacked any depth. My honest opinion... get an onion and rub it in your eyes for a more pleasurable experience.

Someone needs to limit the amount two word's can be repeated in a film, I for one am sick to death of hearing "spring break" If anyone thinks this is a film prepare to watch the worst film in decades look no further...

I'm not sure what the director was aiming for when he made this movie, but it's obscure (not in a good way). I only managed about 40 minutes before turning it off.
