About this movie

In Iron Man & Captain America: Heroes United, Iron Man and Captain America battle to keep the Red Skull and his triggerman Taskmaster, from unleashing an army of Hydra Brutes on the world! With Iron Man's intellect and Cap's combat training, the two born leaders must learn to work together and appreciate each other's skills in order to save the world from the evil throes of Hydra. All the fun of the Iron Man-Hulk dynamic from the first Heroes United, the rapport is matched here between Captain America and Iron Man. With a few surprising twists and a great Act III cameo, this action packed feature highlights two of the mightiest Avengers as they take down the malicious Red Skull and Taskmaster!

i liked this. it was like an extended episode of Avengers Assemble with just Iron Man and Captain America. The writing is good in my opinion. The voice actors do a great job emoting/enunciating the script while staying in character and adding personality. There is no vulgar language or sexual content which in America is probably equated with 'kid stuff'. More than a few times I found the banter between characters to be as enjoyable as classic quips form the old Star Wars movies.

This movie is definitely intended to be kid-friendly with lines like "Destroy them!" and "Crush them!" instead of "Kill them!" and Hydra agents getting mindwiped when captured instead of committing suicide by poison. But if you can overlook some cheesy dialogue and convenient plot devices, the story is decent and the action is pretty good. If you want to see Iron Man and Captain America team-up to fight bad guys, this is worth renting, but I wouldn't buy it.

It's a much better film in terms of story, the cgi is still ugly, but the chemistry between two of the most popular Marvel characters save the film.
