Danny Boyle's feature film directorial debut is a sly, sinister crime thriller about three close friends who discover their new roommate's dead body, along with a suitcase full of cash. Faced with a moral dilemma, the trio agrees to dispose of the corpse and keep the money — a decision which leads them on a haunting journey that will test the limits of trust, loyalty, paranoia and greed.

While Danny Boyle isn't an overlooked director by a long shot, he is severely UNDERRATED... this then trainspotting 2 years later... CRAZY. if you want another vile crime movie that is VERY 90s, WATCH THIS RIGHT NOW!!!

Saw it in the theater. I was told it was a movie about friends. Yep! It is. Love Ewan. I have watched it multiple times since because the cinematic elements are incredible but I do have to turn off the sound in the sawing scenes. For effect you must watch the first time but it's gruesome. One of my favorite movies!

I enjoy this movie, which I finally watched in its entirety. Gruesome and disturbing with three terrible people as the main characters, but thoroughly compelling.
