About this movie

How far would you go to protect your family? Oscar® nominee Hugh Jackman stars as a man facing every parent's worst nightmare. His six-year-old daughter is missing, together with her young friend -- and as minutes turn to hours, panic sets in. The only lead is a dilapidated RV that had earlier been parked on their street. Heading the investigation, the detective in charge (Jake Gyllenhaal) arrests its driver (Paul Dano), but a lack of evidence forces his release. As the police pursue multiple leads and pressure mounts, knowing his child's life is at stake, the frantic father decides he has no choice but to take matters into his own hands. But just how far will he go to protect his family? Led by Jackman and Gyllenhaal, this dramatic thriller features an all-star cast, including Maria Bello as Keller's distraught wife; Oscar® nominees Terrence Howard and Viola Davis as the other parents, whose daughter also went missing; in addition to Academy Award® winner Melissa Leo.

This movie is just amazing, very weel done, honestly couldve passed for a true story!!!! Only thing I wish would have been different: the ending. They left you to believe something positive, when really it could have turned out differently, so it remains a mystery. Who knows, maybe a Prisoners 2 will come out :D

This is actually a pretty good film except that it begins to lose me by the end... I wanted to be conflicted about Hugh Jackman's actions throughout this film but by the end they almost seem justified and I feel like that was the wrong direction. Great film with great actors and at times rather thrilling / thought provoking as to what I might do in that situation

The movie is a good movie one child escaped the other child they rescued Hugh character was still alive.I heard the whistle and, Jake heard it to.if that was me I would've been like get a tow truck move that car dig every area until u find him, I didn't like the ending it should've been a rewrite but, I am hoping for a sequel. I know some endings are those wait for it moment. Have u wondering I'm wondering why he didn't yell for help or pull a pipe loose and, start hitting the car I'm just saying.
