A rambunctious group of five college friends steal away for a weekend of debauchery in an isolated country cabin, only to be attacked by horrific supernatural creatures in a night of endless terror and bloodshed. Sound familiar? Just wait. As the teens begin to exhibit standard horror movie behavior, a group of technicians in a control room are scrutinizing, and sometimes even controlling, every move the terrified kids make! With their efforts continually thwarted by the all powerful eye in the sky, do they have any chance of escape?

Absolutely fabulous! This is unlike anything I've ever seen, and I am SO glad that I finally saw it! There were a couple of scares where I actually jumped, and they weren't cheap jump scares, either. The plot was interesting, and the pace was good. Just brilliantly fun all around, and there were actually a few times I laughed. It's very rare for me to enjoy any horror with comedic elements, because so many are over-the-top campy, self-aware, or just trying too hard on both fronts that it can't be true to either. This is one that I'm going to have to buy on DVD. The details make me feel like I'll need to rewatch it a few times, and I can easily see this becoming a cult favorite. The only downside is that it felt like it went WAY too fast; I wish I could have drawn it out longer! There are a few faces folks will definitely recognize, as well as one certain voice. I am SO glad that I finally watched this; it gives me hope for future original and unique films. We haven't reached the bottom of the originality barrel yet. Not by a long shot!

Allright so i got to say if 'awsome sauce' was a film and that film was canned this WOULD be made in El Paso :) idk why, its not my preferred genre, but for some reason i had been looking forward to this since previews AND surprisingly it lived up to expectations-GRANTED I've saved the last half hour for, well now, but i had to jump off and jot a quicky down! People are constantly saying its bad and to not watch it. This movie has been my favorite movie for 5 years. Stop saying "you are idiots for liking this" stop saying "i dont understand why everyone says its good" ITS NOT A HORROR MOVIE its a SATIRE movie. Its making fun of horror movie clichés and the demand for them. And its REALLY clever about it. Its not supposed to scare you its not supposed to make you laugh its supposed to do the clichés in a mocking way. It does all the tropes. Dumb blond. Virgin dies last. Lets split up. Etc. Even the title is a cliche in a sense. Its a movie making fun of other movies. Its okay if thats not your thing, but dont blame the movie for that
