About this movie

On a spur-of-the-moment road trip, world-weary Sophie and her naïve neighbor Pete hatch a misguided plan to get hitched. Before they know it, they're engaged... and stranded in the middle of the desert. Together they must track down Pete's sorority-girl sister -- who disappears with a bearded drifter -- while trying not to ruin the budding love that neither of them was looking for. Refreshingly funny and intelligent, this coming-of-age romantic comedy delightfully contemplates how and with whom we fall in love.
