About this movie

The terror continues as Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) returns to Earth after drifting through space in hypersleep for 57 years. Although her story about the Alien encounter is met with skepticism, she agrees to accompany a team of high-teach marine's back to LV-246... and this time it's war!

Warning spoilers. I don't know what main character died that made this a bad movie to some (maybe just one). The only MAIN character I know of made it through, sadly some people with large rolls didn't. Great writing great story, it has aged over the years. For the love of god google get rid of one star reviews at the top. If people want to see troll reviews (one star review- IN THE REVIEW THEY WROTE "perfectly well made made and still worth watching") let them click on one star to seem them.

Contains spoils It's not bad in cinematics ,but the story arc led to a point which is just bad plotting, bad writing and the heroic act made into the one thing you should never do! -Killing off your main character. That is why it's bad, other than that it's a perfectly well made made and still worth watching, but I'd ignore the killing off main character part because it was stupidly done. The reason was given that Sigourney Weaver wanted Ripley to have minimal screen time in that movie.

I hate google plays way of sticking a bad review of a movie so it's easily visible especially when it's a rediculous attempt at trolling anyone that loves the movie. And considering it's rated 4.7 at the moment for 2579 reviews it is seemingly loved by most. I saw the movie in the theater when it first came out and while I liked the first movie this movie was a complete shock and a wild ride. A friend who saw it with me spent quite a bit of time covering their eyes. By today's standards I'm sure it's pretty tame as actors are shredded like they are put in a vegamatic (look it up kids) and people cheer. The aliens were intensely evil and deadly and easily overwhelmed trained and well armed soldiers and the last part of the movie takes place at a breakneck pace. Sigourney Weaver gave a very stong female lead performance which sent her career into overdrive. It's just a shame what the sequels did to the story and to this day I feel this is one of the strongest sequels ever made which easily outdid the original movie (as good as it is).
