The movie itself is good for what it is , a no brainer fun good guys win action sci fi thriller. Googles service however leaves something to be desired. The play stores website says that your ability to watch in HD depends on your hardware and connection speed. Not so. I would not have paid $20 for this had I known I would be limited to 480p playback on my htpc rig. A cs call to them just got me a 'all sales final' response. Last purchase for me from Google play store , at least as far as movies go

Not sure how this movie exists but it does and I just wasted 2 hours of my life watching it. The acting is not very good on anyone's part. Liam Neeson pretty much phones this one in. Taylor Kitsch's character is not likeable at any point and he gets way too many passes by all of the other characters when in real life, a joker like this would be dismissed by all. His brother in the film over does the "be all you can be" speeches. Everyone else is pretty much along for the paycheck. The one memorable performance is Gregory D. Gadson as Lieutenant Colonel Mick Canales. Also, these are probably the first aliens in movie history that fly across space and then land on a planet in vehicles that can only maneuver in water. Wait until this is like 99 cents if you really really want to see it.

Taylor Kitsch? Um watch "Lone Survivor" Kitsches's bad acting shins through again in this one, if not for Skarsgard and Liam N's appearance they should have paid people to watch this one. And how can you make a movie about a child's guessing game. Bad subject/topic for a movie combined with Kitsche's continually bad acting I would rather play the game 'Battle ship' than watch the movie "Battle Ship"! If I could give it a 1/3 of one star that is how many stars this film garnered !
