About this movie

A "modern" young woman of the 16th century, Danielle (Drew Barrymore) is as independent and wise as she is beautiful and kind. Against remarkable odds, she stands up to her scheming stepmother (Angelica Huston) and works miracles on the lives of everyone around her, including the crown prince of France (Dougray Scott)! Now you can relive this captivating, contemporary retelling of the classic fairytale.

Not only the story, actresses/actors, and director but this entire film in its entirety is absolutely phenomenal, to the score the dp, gaffer/key grip and the entire crew ...Thank you, This film in my opinion is the best Romantic movie I have ever seen in my life and im a 26 yr old straight guy . Im just happy I was able to see in theaters with my Mom and sister when I was younger and didnt sneak in to see the movie Snake Eyes with Nick Cage with my brother like I wanted to. I clearly made a better decision

Fantastic Movie, I watched over and over one of my favorites when I'm feeling down, her strength for those she loves she'll fight for no matter what. Her character is one I can truly relate too & what a well written and produced with perfect actor's. I love almost everything Drew has ever done all her life. Her strength with everything she's been through from a young age, gives all women courage.

This movie is wonderful. It is another point of view for cinderella. She was not the damisel in distress, but a strong woman, she was not rich, but she was just ment to be a princess. She lied is true, but she didn't mean any harm everything got entangled. I have seen it like a hundred times literally, and I don't get bored.
