About this movie

Genre-smashing filmmaker Edgar Wright tells the amazing story of one romantic slacker's quest to power up with love. Scott Pilgrim's (Michael Cera) new crush has the most unusual baggage of all: a nefarious league of exes who control her love life and will do whatever it takes to eliminate him as a suitor.

It was meh, overlong, cringey and empty with characters I couldn't really care about. Sightly better the second time around. I liked the gay guy, Knives was adorbs :3, the fight scenes were watchable and there were a couple of laughs to be had. And I didn't know bass guitar was so damn cool! Rom coms are trash, imo, but this was slightly better than most. Guess maybe gamers will appreciate it more, which I'm not. At all. So... Miiiiight give the book a look some time.

I finally watched this film, and my throat hurt from how much I laughed by the end of it. Well thought out and produced, great graphics and characters and a really sound message behind it all. Can't fault it.

This is my favourite film... If you are slightly weird and awkward, have a thing for pink hair, and are easily bored by predictable films then this is for you :-D
