Is the church open at this hour. ;- ) I think it is a good blend of all the possession movies, crossed with the, "there's only one evil being, there is love of one Good being", mingled with the endured University theme of sciences, "Prove it?" I was kinda hoping for some proof in the pudding. I was fooled again. Good on you! ;- ) I don't know if I would show this movie to anyone whose got bible thumping blood on their hands. LOL
Good players. So-so story. We've seen this before. Scientific skepticism upended by supernatural experience. Julianne Moore rises above ho-hum character development to deliver a nuanced performance as a psychologist in the middle of a crisis of faith, and Jonathan Rhys Meyers is believably vulnerable.
I love horror movies been easier on em, so not much these days really scares me, this one? It was a different take that I truly can say I loved and have never forgotten, I'm no critic by any means yet I will share opinions on certain things. Just the thought of someone taking another's soul is very different thought, I'll continue to look for more like this from Hollywood.
One of the best horror films ever made. This movie will keep you on the edge of your seat the whole time your watching it. I definitely would recommend this movie to anyone who likes real scary movies. Whether or not your a Julianna Moore fan, this movie is worth renting. I could watch it a hundred times and still not get tired of it.
