I didn't read the books so I didn't have any preconceptions of this final movie. I also do not know how it ends in the book. What I can say is that I was disappointed with ending in the movie. I'm getting a little tired of book trilogies being made into 4 movies by splitting the final book. All in an attempt to get more money. If one book is split between two movies, why did the end still feel rushed? I'm not opposed to companies earning more, but they have to earn it.

The hunger games was 4 stars, Catching fire was a 5 star, Mockingjay Part 1 was a 2 star and Mockingjay Part 2 is a 3 star. WHY? Because MJ P2 sticked to the plot and it had a decent amount of action AND the acting was surprisingly OKAY. BUTTTTT... The reason MJ P1 AND MJ P2 got the lowest rating from me was because they were split into TWO Parts. WTF! I know they only care about money but come on! The Movie would've been SOO much better! In fact the SERIES would've been better. MJ P2 is a okay film.

An interesting drama is once again foiled by economic drive. Part 2 (really part 4), could have been easily folded into Part 3, leaving us not to groan through a drawn-out attempt to kill Snow and end the series. This movie felt more like a horror movie, with the only suspense coming from the next "pod" catastrophe to blindside the ridiculous little army marching straight to the Capital in plain view. Painful to watch.
