Major Dutch Schaefer (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is the leader of a military rescue unit looking for allies captured by guerrillas in the Latin American jungle. At first it seems like any other mission: Schaefer and his team of seasoned combat veterans spot a guerilla camp, destroy it, and find the men they were sent to rescue executed. But when Schaefer attempts to lead his unit out, with a captured guerrilla in tow, something horrifying and inexplicable begins to happen: One by one the men are killed by a mysterious adversary - a Predator from another world.

A terrific medley of genres (action, sci-fi, and horror) directed to near perfection by John McTiernan (Die Hard, Hunt for Red October), featuring a cast of muscled 80's machismo slowly coming to grips with the fact that for the first time they are not the hunters, but the hunted. A pitch perfect score by Alan Silvestri brings dread and tension to the steamy hot jungle, all of which serves as a fitting backdrop for this primal battle of man vs. the unknown.

i just want to start of by saying the acting by arnold and evreyone else was amazing it didnt feel like they were robots it felt like they were real pepole the sequences of thriller is also very well done it feels like action and horror combined toghether perfectly the only downside to the movie that i can see is the way the blood looks it looks a bit fake but the kills are some of the most remeberable scenes in my childhood over all a great movie

Predator, one of the few best action movies ever, I remember when I was young then I saw this movie for the first time, then I just love it, suspense, action, funny & badasss quotes like "get to the choppa" "ain't got time to bleed" and pretty damn badass plot, overall the practical effects that still looking pretty darn good, specially the predator make up which is much better than CGI in costumes, it was little scary at first but now I see him as a badass character, and Movies likes is what make 80's even more special, I wish I could go to the 80's, only spoiled kids from 2000's would probably says that this movie it's stupid and sucks.
