There was no "master plan." In fact, there was no plan at all. Yet Chicago's pioneering record label Wax Trax! Records launched careers for a legion of bands (Ministry, Front 242, KMFDM, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, and many more) and ushered in a whole new genre of music known as "industrial" before flaming out in epic style.
