On the whole, this is not the greatest movie that's been made surrounding the Robin Hood mythos. What it is though is a rip-rollicking adventure despite its flaws that's hard not to enjoy. It has one of the best soundtracks of my childhood (forget about the doofy love ballad) and endless crowd-pleaser moments. Super fun.

With the loss of our beloved Alan, I have come back to watch him as the evil Sheriff. This is true gold and a classic Robin Hood movie.

A little cheesy (it's an American actor portraying an English legend). But in my opinion it's still the best movie version of the Robin Hood legend. None of the others have managed to capture the heart, humor and charm of the character. Also I grew up watching this so it's nostalgic.
