Complete waste. They completely strayed from the theme of the original show. I've seen every single episode and there was nothing about it that was vile or crude. Plus, the appearance made by the original characters at the end of the film are not in their original personalities. Hansen was normally a grouch, and very focused and took his job as a cop seriously, but with his brief appearance, he lost his focus just long enough to get himself shot, all because he was giddy about finding new fellow Jump Street officers. It did not portray the original Tom Hansen at all very well. The show was more of a drama, and they turned it into a dirty idiotic comedy. I am not happy with the turnout. Those who have seen the movie but not the show can't truly appreciate the meaning behind it, which is probably why they like it so much. I personally am not happy with it.
Just Hilarious It's very rare that I actually "lol" when watching a movie that's been made in the last 15 (give or take) years; this movie had me laughing from beginning to end. As a teenager I never watched the show and didn't plan on watching the movie. I happened to watch it because there was nothing else on; it was a very happy accident.
Commercials? Really? First movie that I watched on chromecast. Crackle commercials were popping up on the screen on the top corners! And there was no way to take them off the screen. I didn't pay for the movie to get on screen commercials.
Mostly Funny Except: Re: The scene in the church Mocking the Lord Jesus Christ is wrong because he is the way, the truth and the life of us all. He died for us, this is dead wrong. Whoever encouraged this scene should reconsider.
Dumb crude humor This movie is filled with dumb, crude humor and unnecessary swearing. The movie would have been a lot better if they left out the crap. I really question the intelligence of anyone who liked this movie.
Horrible parody of a great show The only reason I even give a star is because I have to. This movie was a disgusting parody of one of my childhood favorite tv shows. You could not make me take this movie even if it was free.
Great movie! Funny adult content that some ppl don't get. They didn't mock Jesus. Horrible spam comment thanks to an unhelpful user. Its a humorous movie. Cinema was packed. Laughter surrounding me. May be vulgar but a movie you get carded to preview THAT'S EXPECTED. Get over it! Five stars gladly given.
Love this movie! All the ppl in the other comments saying that this movie is rude and disturbing are stupid! Wat r u expecting? Did u not watch the previews? Like seriously? They even have a preview before u buy it! Honestly I love this movie! And I can't wait till 22 jump street comes out hahaha.. So Yea... I live this movie anybody who is perverted (like me) will love this movie!! (I love Channing and Jonah)
21 jump street This movie is hilarious. It's not what you think based on the trailer. I was so surprised at how good the movie was. Because I watched the TV series growing up, I figured it was going to be stupid. Boy was I wrong. A must see for those of us who love a laugh out loud comedy.
Laugh Out Loud One of few movies that are actually funny these days. The two are brilliant together as they both contrast each other. A sure bet if your humor won't fly in church. Looking forward to 22 Jump Street
You will laugh Watched it on a plane and didn't expect much from it, but I was pleasantly surprised. Got me laughing out loud multiple times, at the expense of my airplane neighbors. Pretty decent movie.
Surprisingly funny. I normally can't stand Jonah Hill, and I wasn't sure if I'd like him with Channing Tatum (who's always a plus). They worked well together though, and I laughed the entire time. A definite must-see!
Old ppl get me For anyone who posted under 5 stars is either over 50 years old or has no brain cells this movie is so freaking amazing good job to the cast and everybody else who made an awesome and funny movie they are already in for a second movie and I will be at the theatre for that 1 too. I noticed how for every 55 stars or 75 there was 1 that was 1 star, that might tell you something this is an awesome movie.
bounds of dunk kids and fap fap fap the weasel Yeah dude that's getting kinda weird service smocks. Atonement sickness is not necessary for me to even attempt to doghouse shindigs. Aerosmith is evil and I can't shake the feeling of being entirely filled to the brim with poops.
9 out of 10 Ice cube: your all here... because you a buncha Juster Beiber! Miley Cyrus Lookin a** motha f***ahs!!! So funny. And that gym teacher. An the fact that its kinda accurate for how school has changed. The buff guy ends up being the nerd, haha.

I recommend this to anyone ! & for all the dumb hate reviews , you don't know what you are talkin about ! You haters are so harsh ! The bad reviews are so sad & I don't think anyone has anything to back up that this is a "bad movie" FYI its the best movie ever . & Channing Tatum is adorable & Jonah Hill is amazing . (:
Regarding Jesus scene. Many things in life can be considered offensive. If you don't like a part of the movie then don't watch it. Or you could do what many religious people do; be it Christian or Muslim and start your own hate group or silence the makers of the movie with violence. Judge not lest thee be judged thyself.
I was completely against this movie! I refused to see it in theaters. Them my son brought it home and I watched it. I have regretted my reluctance since then. I recently saw the trailer for 22 Jump Street and I am excited!
