Alexia is the fifth studio album by Italian singer Alexia released in 2002. The album was the first release in Italian. It gave boost to her career. The album was released in Italy on CD and cassette on 8 March 2002. It was certified gold by the Federation of the Italian Music Industry for domestic sales exceeding 50,000 units.
The album contains one English recording, an English version of "Dimmi come…" entitled "Don't You Know" though this would be re-recorded in English again for an international release. Two of the tracks, "Se Un Giorno" and "L'amore Vince" are Italian renditions of the songs "Whenever You Want Me" and "The Real Thing" from her previous album Mad For Music. Non Lasciarmi Mai was released as a single on 24 June 2002 with Hasta La Vista Baby being released as a radio promo third single after the International release of the album.
Mad For Music
Mad for Music is the fourth studio album by Italian singer Alexia released in 2001, and would be her final studio album to be sung exclusively in English. It was her first album that she had a hand co-producing and the first released since her split with DWA and Robyx. Some of the tracks would be recorded in Italian and included on her 2002 album Alexia.
Fan Club is the debut studio album by Italian singer Alexia released in 1997. The album featured mostly eurodance tracks, as was producer Robyx's speciality. It was released in 1997 after the release of Alexia's fourth single "Uh La La La", yet strangely no further singles were released from the album with the exception of two country specific releases of "Virtual Reality" and "Hold On". A version of "Virtual Reality" had already been released in Italy credited to E.Y.E. featuring Alexia.
Ultimate 2007 Greatest Hits
The Hits is the second compilation album and first greatest hits release by Italian singer Alexia released in 2000 and would be her final album released with Robyx and DWA. The album spans all her international singles from 1995 to 2000, with the sole new song being the lead single Ti Amo Ti Amo. As they were released in only one territory, the singles Virtual Reality and Hold On were not included on the album.
In addition to ten single, four album tracks were included 'Claro De Luna' from The Party and 'Baby Baby Baby', 'Shake You Up' and 'Save A Prayer' from Happy along with three remixes including the Almighty Edit of Uh La La La.
Il Cuore A Modo Mio
Il Cuore A Modo Mio is the sixth studio album by Alexia released in Italy on 7 March 2003. This would be the third album in which Alexia had a hand in production. The lead single from the album Per Dire Di No won the Sanremo festival 2003 and reached the Italian Top 10. The second single Egoista also reached the Italian charts.
This was the first and, thus far, only Alexia album to feature Intro and prelude tracks.
