I realize that bands change and evolve, but this was not Black Veil Brides. This sounded like another solo album by Andy. I did like most of the songs, and I was very happy with the BVB guitar being present in quite a few of them. Unfortunately there just wasn't enough of what made me enjoy BVB in the first place, and because of that I just did not enjoy this album. If presented differently (as an Andy Black album featuring BVB members), this would have easily gotten four or possibly even five stars from me. And for the record, I'm a 39 year old guy who was converted into a BVB fan by my 16 year old son.
Black veil brides has saved my life. I know that sounds silly but I found their music when I was in a very dark time in my life and the first song I heard was in the end. I have loved albums after that and even Andy blacks album but I have been waiting so long for a kinda sequel to wretched and divine and finally it has arrived. I'm so excited I can't wait for the 12th. Love you guys keep up the great work and thank you so much.
This is beyond my expectations! Honestly, this is so creative! It's like the other part of the story to "Wretched and Divine" with the twist of "Black Veil Brides". I also love how diverse this album is, and how it balances heavy and melodic, beautifully. You all did your best in contributing to this work of art. Rock on! \m/
The five songs I have hear so far from the album is absolutely amazing, the outsider, my vow, when they call my name, and wake up. My favorite so far is wake up, I absolutely can't wait for this album, I wish wake up was available to buy so I don't have to go and listen to it on "BBC" as it takes my data away. Over all, so stoked for this album, and hope to see more albums in the future. ❤
This album continues the story of the legion of the black started in wretched and divine while taking a whole different sound and feel. I throughly enjoyed this album and it greatly exceeded my expectations. It has a feel of Andy's solo album but also is very recognizable as a Black Veil Brides album. Definitely my favorite album from this band.
The good old days of We Stitch These Wounds and Set The World On Fire will never come back, and while it saddens me, that isn't the only reason I rated this one star. To me, this sounds like an Andy Black EP, not a BVB album. My Vow is a pretty good song though.
