Not bad but.. As a big fan of Coldplay I have to admit I wasn't really blown away by this track - and I usually am blown away by everything Coldplay does. Im hoping that the album is going to be brilliant, but this track just doesn't cut it for me. Midnight was great but it still didn't feel like Coldplay!
They've done it once again I've been a fan since the beginning and with every album they never disappoint me...this one won't be any different! This song is so chill and everytime I hear Chris' voice I feel at home! I love the simplicity of this song and it sounds wonderful. Can't say anything bad about it! I love you guys! May is gonna be amazing!
Losing their Magic Coldplay used to be very good, and I guess they are trying to modernize themselves to sound like… Lorde. And even here, Chris sounds like Jack Johnson. As a fan, I think all four of them should stick to their instruments, like they did in some unrecognized songs in Mylo, but as a critic, use a synthesizer to give their music a modern feel.
Slightly disappointed The instrumentals and rhythm in the majority of coldplay's songs are the reason they are so great and tranquil to hear. However, this song in particular didn't stand out much through the chords or lyrics. Hopefully the rest of the album makes up for it.
Gently upbeat. I've never been a huge fan of Coldplay and not many of their tracks are to my liking. This song I think deserves more recognition though, since the tune is amazing but still rather tranquil.
A grower Another shift in direction from the band, I admit I wasn't sure at first but the song grew on me and is now stuck in my head. Roll on May 19th.
