Description

Blood In, Blood Out is the tenth studio album by American thrash metal band Exodus. It was released on October 14, 2014 through Nuclear Blast, and is the band's first album with vocalist Steve "Zetro" Souza since 2004's Tempo of the Damned. The album also saw a reunion with original guitarist Kirk Hammett, who plays the guitar solo on "Salt the Wound". Blood In, Blood Out received generally favorable critical reviews, and it entered the Billboard 200 at number 38—the band's highest U.S. chart position to date. Exodus promoted the album with its first concert tour with Souza since he left the band in 2004, due to a feud with guitarist Gary Holt.

Pure thrash at the forefront of a thrash metal revival The revival of thrash metal is something I'm sure a lot of metalheads are EXTREMELY happy about. It's no surprise, then, to see that Exodus' Blood in Blood Out fits in just nicely. Though the band got quite heavy with Rob Dukes, Steve Souza brings back a more classic sound to the band, which fits in with the music here, which has been simplified to what can be considered PURE THRASH. That's right, no cheesy metalcore influence or other "modern adaptions" to fit in with a younger demographic, just pure thrash. In the end, that's what thrash-loving metalheads expect, right? I'll let you be the judge of that.

Zetro ruins another album. This album was completed with Duke but they got Zetro to redo the vocals. What a waste of an album. Maybe in a few years they will re-release with original lyrics. The music is good but the vocals are sh1t.

Epic Thrash!!!😈 Like a relentless beating this album assaults the ear drums and pounds the senses with glorious thrash from true metal masters. Loves it and if you are a fan of Exodus, you will too.

Solidly Good Better than anything Dukes ever did. Better than Impact is Imminent or Force of Habit. Better than Tempo of the Damned. Not as good as Pleasures of the Flesh or Fabulous Disaster.
