Protest music is an art form like no other and Flobots are some of the best in the business. "Noenemies" calls back to the power and grace of "Fight With Tools" and builds on its success musically and lyrically. Tracks like "Blood in the River" and "American Dreams" express a musical dynamism that relatively few artists are capable of. "Noenemies" has a feel of complete independence. Not just in production, but in tone and musical style. Progressive hip hop is almost oxymoronic, but albums like this show why it is such a successful formula for Flobots. "Noenemies" truly feels like an album without compromise.
Making a perfect album isn't an easy thing to accomplish. With that said Flobots have made a beautifully powerful album while each track flows perfectly from one to another. I challenge everyone who purchased this album to really sit down with your headphones on and listen to the words, meaning and message they are conveying. Bar has been set!
Another fantastic album by the Flobots. Every song has such a unique feeling to it and is so well done, I find myself listening to the whole album over and over again. This is truly my definition of a five star album.
Backed this album on Kickstarter so I got my early copy the other day, and I must say, I'm loving this one. Another awesome piece of work from the Flobots
