The lost art of storytelling through rap A great, thoughtful concept album by Ghostface. The whole album plays out like a movie instead of a bunch of freestyle raps like most other modern day rap artists. Even the established guest artists like Kool G Rap, and AZ play their parts never straying away from the album's concept. Better than the Wu's "A Better Tomorrow". They don't make albums this well thought out from beginning to end very often. My pick as the best Hip Hop album of 2014.
GFK!!!!! The last Ghostface album I really felt was Supreme. The album's after that had me missing that Wu sound (with execution of 12 Reasons). This album is pure magic. In fact I'd go as far as saying I prefer it to Ironman, which in my opinion is one of the best album's in the Wu catalog. Reach for this if you're a real head.
Dope Every1 put n work. Ghost, Az , Kool G Rap u guy's need2 team up again. Classic, if you can't feel this album you need to put on some leather skinny sweatpants and ride out. 1
Fantaztic Great work here. He's always been hit and miss for me. 12 reasons to die was great, but 36 seasons is just genius. One of musics best releases this year. Wu!
Is it 1998 or something? Sure its a story played out through the album. But these tracks are put together well with actual content and there's more bangers here than most of the garbage hip hop albums these days.
He's back That last album was trash. This one is right on point. Rhymes are always good. This time the beats sound much better. Good music needs dope beats and dope rhymes. If not it's just poetry night.
