Living For The Weekend (Deluxe Edition)
Living for the Weekend is the fourth and final studio album by English-Irish girl group The Saturdays. It was released in the United Kingdom on 14 October 2013, by Fascination Records and its associated record labels. Living for the Weekend was recorded between 2011 and 2013 in Los Angeles, London and New York City. Longtime collaborator Steve Mac returned to work on the album, as well as enlisting a wide range of new producers and writers including Rodney Jerkins, Autumn Rowe, Diane Warren, Carl Ryden, DNA Songs, David Schuler, Priscilla Renea, Camille Purcell, Jim Jonsin and many more. The album was preceded by their first US release, an EP called Chasing The Saturdays.
Living for the Weekend is prominently pop-oriented that incorporates elements of R&B, dance, and house. Reggae artist Sean Paul is the only guest vocalist on the album. The band said that they were "overwhelmed" with working with the people they had the chance to get to work with on Living for the Weekend. In support of the EP and album, the group also starred in their own reality television show, Chasing The Saturdays, to introduce them to an American audience in support with Mercury Records.
Turn It Up (Louder)
Turn It Up is the debut studio album by English singer and songwriter Pixie Lott, released on 11 September 2009 by Mercury Records. The album's first two singles, "Mama Do" and "Boys and Girls", both topped the UK Singles Chart, while subsequent singles "Cry Me Out", "Gravity" and "Turn It Up" all reached the top 20. Turn It Up peaked at number six on the UK Albums Chart and was certified double Platinum by the British Phonographic Industry, with sales in excess of 600,000 copies.
The album was re-released as Turn It Up Louder on 18 October 2010. It was preceded by the release of "Broken Arrow" as its lead single, and includes nine other bonus songs. In 2010, it was reported that Interscope Records was planning to release Turn It Up in the United States with new songs in early 2011, which never materialised.
The Wanted (Special Edition)
The Wanted is the self-titled debut studio album by British-Irish boy band The Wanted, released on 22 October 2010 through Geffen Records. The majority of the album was written by members of the band, with help from songwriters Steve Mac, Wayne Hector, Ed Drewett, Lucas Secon, Lukas Hilbert and Alexander Kronlund. The album was available in multiple editions, including a deluxe edition exclusive to Tesco, which contained two bonus remixes and two videos, and individual band member editions, exclusive to HMV, which featured a bonus slipcase and liner notes related to the respective band member. The album debuted at number four on the UK Albums Chart, and at number eleven in Ireland. The album produced three singles which attained UK chart success, including the number-one single "All Time Low".
Messy Little Raindrops
Messy Little Raindrops is the second studio album by British recording artist Cheryl, released on 29 October 2010 by Fascination Records. The project is the follow-up to Cheryl’s multi-platinum debut solo album 3 Words, following seven successful years as a member of girl group Girls Aloud. Recorded in Los Angeles and London, Cheryl mainly worked with Wayne Wilkins, who previously produced Cheryl’s number one debut single "Fight for This Love".
The album utilises more of a dance-pop sound than Cheryl’s previous album. It received generally mixed reviews from contemporary music critics. It was preceded by the lead single, "Promise This", peaking at number one in Ireland and the UK. The album debuted at number one in the UK, and at number two in Ireland. On 19 August 2011 the album was certified Platinum by BPI, with shipments in the UK in the excess of 300,000.
