Kate Nash Albums
Yesterday Was Forever
Yesterday Was Forever is the fourth studio album by English singer-songwriter Kate Nash. Her first album in five years, the record notably sees Nash return to her indie pop roots. It was released independently and funded by fans via Kickstarter. To promote the album, Nash embarked on the Yesterday Was Forever Tour in the United States and Canada, and has performed at several festivals including Reading and Leeds Festival.
The albums themes revolve around mental health and relationships. Nash openly confirmed that she has obsessive compulsive disorder and anxiety and is an advocate for raising awareness for the importance of mental health. "Musical Theatre" is Nash's personal interpretation of struggling with mental health.
Girl Talk is the third studio album by English singer-songwriter Kate Nash. Nash self-released the album under Have 10p Records along with Fontana in March 2013 after she raised money for the album on PledgeMusic. Girl Talk has received mixed to positive reviews from critics. Featuring a heavier rock-influenced sound, the album is a noticeable departure from her first two indie pop albums. Lyrically, it draws a lot of influence from the riot grrrl movement.
The vinyl LP version of the record was pressed by United Record Pressing in Nashville, TN.
My Best Friend Is You
My Best Friend Is You is the second studio album by English singer-songwriter Kate Nash, released in the United Kingdom on 19 April 2010 and elsewhere on 20 April. The album was originally entitled Crayon Full Of Colour but the name was changed due to Paolo Nutini's similar song title at that time, "Pencil Full Of Lead". On 13 April 2010, Kate appeared on John Kennedy's XFM show Xposure, where they did a track-by-track interview playing the whole of the album. The album spawned three official singles: the lead single "Do-Wah-Doo" achieved the most commercial success, charting respectively in European countries. "I've Got A Secret" was released as a promotional single and the fourth single overall.
Made of Bricks
