Push the Sky Away
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Push the Sky Away is the fifteenth studio album by the Australian alternative rock band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, released on 18 February 2013 on the band's own label Bad Seed Ltd. Recorded at La Fabrique in southern France, it is the band's first album not to feature founding member Mick Harvey, who departed the band in January 2009, the first album to feature founding member Barry Adamson since Your Funeral... My Trial, and the last album to feature Conway Savage prior to his death in 2018.
Shadows in the Night
Shadows in the Night is the 36th studio album by Bob Dylan, released by Columbia Records on February 3, 2015. The album consists of covers of traditional pop standards made famous by Frank Sinatra, chosen by Dylan. Speaking of his intention behind the album, Dylan stated:
I don't see myself as covering these songs in any way. They've been covered enough. Buried, as a matter a fact. What me and my band are basically doing is uncovering them. Lifting them out of the grave and bringing them into the light of day.
The album garnered acclaim from critics, who praised its song selections as well as Dylan and his band's performance and arrangements. The album debuted at No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart, making Dylan the oldest male solo artist to chart at No. 1 in the UK.
Blue Alert is a jazz album recorded by Anjani, girlfriend and longtime backing singer of iconic Canadian singer-songwriter and poet Leonard Cohen, who also produced the album and wrote the lyrics. Also on the production team was John Lissauer, known for having previously produced two of Cohen's albums: New Skin for the Old Ceremony and Various Positions.
The album was released in Canada on May 2, in USA on May 19, and in Europe on June 5, 2006, by Columbia Records. It debuted at #16 of Billboard's Top 200 Jazz Albums.

Searching For Sugar Man (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)
Sixto Rodriguez has one of the more unlikely comeback stories in rock 'n' roll history. In the early '70s, he released a pair of albums, Cold Fact and Coming From Reality, which won him critical acclaim (press heralded him as a "Latin Bob Dylan") but which were commercial flops, sending him back into workaday obscurity in his native Detroit. Unbeknownst to him, however, his albums sold hundreds of thousands of copies in South Africa over the next decade, making him an absentee star there as big as the Beatles or Elvis. In America, he remained an unknown until Seattle archival label Light in the Attic re-issued Rodriguez's two LPs in 2008 and 2009. The new documentary Searching for Sugar Man follows two South African fans who go looking for their folk hero, and the soundtrack features sparse, psychedelic folk selections from his two albums.
Leonard Cohen Albums
You Want It Darker
You Want It Darker is the fourteenth and final studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen, released on October 21, 2016, by Columbia Records, nineteen days before Cohen's death. The album was created towards the end of his life and focuses on death, God, and humor. It was released to critical acclaim. The title track was awarded a Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance in January 2018.
Intoned with his gravelly baritone, Old Ideas finds Leonard Cohen in an intimate, eloquent, unapologetically gloomy conversation on familiar themes from his 40-year career: exploring the mysteries of love, faith and mortality. Although all ten songs are shaded with the darkest observations ("I've got no future/ My days are few"), Cohen's sagacious self-deprecation has a wry twinkle (he calls himself "a lazy bastard living in a suit" on the opener). Even when his poetic lines are delivered in a gravedigger's deadpan, angelic background vocals from long-time collaborators Jennifer Warnes, Sharon Robinson, and Anjani Thomas gild the bleak edges. Altogether, this gives Old Ideas a cool poise, making it Cohen's best record in over a decade, and a warm statement of his dark, romantic sensibility.

Ten New Songs
Ten New Songs is Leonard Cohen's tenth studio album, released in 2001. It was co-written and produced by Sharon Robinson. It was produced in Cohen's and Robinson's home studios in Los Angeles. It was also his first album in nearly 10 years. The album peaked at #143 on the Billboard 200, #4 in Canada, #1 in Poland and #1 in Norway.
I'm Your Man
I'm Your Man is the eighth studio album by Leonard Cohen, released in 1988. The album marked Cohen's further move to a more modern sound, with many songs having a synth-oriented production.
Various Positions is the seventh studio album by Leonard Cohen, released in December 1984. It marked not only his turn to the modern sound and use of synthesizers, but also, after the harmonies and backing vocals from Jennifer Warnes on the previous Recent Songs, an even greater contribution from Warnes, who is credited equally to Cohen as vocalist on all of the tracks.
