Three Chord Country and American Rock & Roll
Three Chord Country and American Rock & Roll is the debut album of American country music artist Keith Anderson. It features the singles "Pickin' Wildflowers", "XXL", "Every Time I Hear Your Name", and "Podunk", all of which charted in the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. A remixed version of the title track, featuring Steven Tyler of the rock band Aerosmith, was to have been released as the album's fourth single, but this single mix was withdrawn before it could chart, and replaced with "Podunk" as the fourth single. The album has been certified gold in the United States by the RIAA. Jeffrey Steele produced the album except for the title track, which was produced by John Rich of Big & Rich.
Blue Moon is the debut studio album of country music artist Steve Holy. Released in 2000 on Curb Records, the album produced four hit singles on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts. The first one, "Don't Make Me Beg", peaked at No. 29 on the charts, and its follow-ups both reached No. 24. Following "The Hunger," Holy charted with "Good Morning Beautiful," which he recorded for the soundtrack to the film Angel Eyes. After this song reached Number One, Curb re-issued the album with "Good Morning Beautiful" as a bonus track.
The album was produced by Wilbur C. Rimes, the father of female country music singer LeAnn Rimes.
On February 24, 2009 it was certified Gold by the RIAA.
