I never liked Miley until she did Happy Hippie, saw a whole new side of her. I feel like she's showing a little more of her true self with this new song. Catchy beat, loving the lyrics and I'm only buying it so I don't have to keep clicking "play again" on YouTube.
When I listened to this it brought tears to my eyes. I remember when she was young and upcoming and she suddenly went on this horrible liberal tirade where she mounted giant dildos on stage and twerking. I thought she was lost to us forever, but this new Miley is both a relief and refreshing. She is back where she belongs making beautiful wholesome inspiring melodies that fit both her voice and her upbringing.
I thought I'd be the last person to endorse any of Ms. Cyrus' music. Her antics have, in my opinion, tended to overshadow her vocal talent. But the song "Malibu" is legitimately great from start to finish. Subdued and honest with a great melodic hook. The maxim is true: you can't judge a book by its cover. Or even by the first few chapters.
Thank you for showing you to can be vulnerable and took a leap. This kind of music suits you. Heck you're related to Dolly. .keep going young lady. Love it, congratulations ☺
it's not a bad song, in fact musically it's very good, just didn't enjoy it. it shows a lot of musical and vocal maturity, and I'm happy for her in the direction in life she's taking, the song itself just wasn't my taste. But i look forward for what she puts out in the future
She's brought a fresh and happy look to the table. I feel like a proud mom, I could cry. #SmilerForLife 💕
