I never liked Miley until she did Happy Hippie, saw a whole new side of her. I feel like she's showing a little more of her true self with this new song. Catchy beat, loving the lyrics and I'm only buying it so I don't have to keep clicking "play again" on YouTube.
I absolutely am in love with this song. I loved her growing up but started to drift as she went through her rebellious stages. This song has definitely brought me back. Congratulations Miley for finding a little more of your true self. 💕
As a child, I would grow up watching hannah montana with my grandmother sometimes because she always wanted to watch it with me. Years later when I figured out about the path that she took, I honestly was disappointed. (Rip miley's hair) Fast forward to now, Miley releases this song. I honestly have not heard a song as good as this in a long while, it brings back that childhood nostalgia with a somewhat mature spin to it. Miley is coming back, i'm pretty glad.
I thought I'd be the last person to endorse any of Ms. Cyrus' music. Her antics have, in my opinion, tended to overshadow her vocal talent. But the song "Malibu" is legitimately great from start to finish. Subdued and honest with a great melodic hook. The maxim is true: you can't judge a book by its cover. Or even by the first few chapters.
it's not a bad song, in fact musically it's very good, just didn't enjoy it. it shows a lot of musical and vocal maturity, and I'm happy for her in the direction in life she's taking, the song itself just wasn't my taste. But i look forward for what she puts out in the future
Thank you for showing you to can be vulnerable and took a leap. This kind of music suits you. Heck you're related to Dolly. .keep going young lady. Love it, congratulations ☺
