Description

Neon Steeple is the debut studio album from the mononymously known Christian musician Crowder. It was released on May 27, 2014 by Sparrow Records and sixstepsrecords, and the producers were Ed Cash, David Crowder, Jared Fox, Will Hunt, Solomon Olds, Christian Paschall, Gabe Scott and Christopher Stevens. The album sold 22,000 copies in its opening week of sales, causing it to debut at No. 9 on the Billboard 200.

Interesting, but a little weird at times I really liked David Crowder Band in the past, so I was looking forward to this album. There's some good songs on here, but it sounded a little weird overall, like it didn't know what it wanted to be. I still like Crowder, though, and I'm glad he's willing to try different things, even if it may fall flat sometimes.

Lift your weary head sinner Omw absolutely luv this song so much that even @ 62 I can't help but sing & dance(lol) BC it lifts me up. I get so excited when I hear young Christian pop singers lighting the world with their praises for the FATHER, SON & THE HOLY SPIRIT. BLESS them all BC we need it now more than ever.

Great folktronica! Can't stop listening. There is a good mix of folk and electronic David crowder. Emmy Lou Harris even makes an appearance. It sounds fresh, new, old and classic all rolled up into one.

Outstanding Album For a diehard country, rock, and Southern music listener, the majority of Christian music holds little apeal. Lyrically engaging with a composition that pulls you into singing and moving, Crowder has proven time and again that spiritual music can be fun to listen to every day. Definitely recommend.
