Robot Girl EP
A Tribute To Linkin Park
The New Metal Heroes
Meteora is the second studio album by American rock band Linkin Park. It was released on March 25, 2003 through Warner Bros. Records, following Reanimation, a collaboration album which featured remixes of songs included on their 2000 debut studio album Hybrid Theory. The album was produced by the band alongside Don Gilmore. The title Meteora is taken from the Greek Orthodox monasteries sharing the same name. Meteora has a similar sound to Hybrid Theory, as described by critics, and the album took almost a year to be recorded. It is the first Linkin Park studio album to feature Dave Farrell after he rejoined the band in 2000.
Meteora debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, selling over 810,000 copies in its first week. Linkin Park released singles from Meteora for over a year, including "Somewhere I Belong", "Faint", "Numb", "From the Inside", and "Breaking the Habit". The song "Lying from You" was released as a promotional single. Meteora received generally positive reviews, although critics noted that the album's musical style was similar to its predecessor Hybrid Theory.
Meteora has sold over 27 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling albums of all time.
Adema is the self-titled debut album by American nu metal band Adema. It was released on August 21, 2001 through Arista Records and peaked at #27 on the Billboard 200. The album was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America on March 6, 2002 for selling over 500,000 copies in the United States, and has since sold over 1 million copies worldwide. The major singles from the album were "The Way You Like It" and "Giving In". "Freaking Out" has also seen some radio airplay. It remains their best-selling album to date.
Out Of Ashes
Dead By Sunrise
Out of Ashes is the only studio album by American rock band Dead by Sunrise, which consisted of Linkin Park lead vocalist Chester Bennington and Amir Derakh, Ryan Shuck, Anthony 'Fu' Valcic, Brandon Belsky, and Elias Andra of Julien-K. It was released on October 13, 2009 through Warner Bros. Records, to mixed to positive reception. The album was produced by Howard Benson. The album charted in a respectably high position in the Billboard 200, peaking at #29. The album spawned three singles, "Crawl Back In", "Let Down", and "Fire". The album achieved moderate success in the US charts.
The album's lyrical contains many personal experiences by Bennington in the previous years before the album's production. It was described as "really dark" and "much more of a rock album" than the works of Linkin Park.
The Rising Tied
The Rising Tied is the first and only solo studio album by Fort Minor, the side project by Linkin Park rapper Mike Shinoda. The album was released on November 22, 2005 through Warner Bros. Records and Shinoda's label Machine Shop Recordings. The Rising Tied is the first and debut album of Fort Minor, with music written and composed by Shinoda.
Shinoda handled production for the album. Jay Z, who worked with Linkin Park on their collaborative EP Collision Course, served as an executive producer for the album. Shinoda collaborated with many longtime friends, as well as many notable and underground hip-hop and R&B artists for the album.
It spawned four singles: "Petrified", "Remember the Name", "Believe Me" and "Where'd You Go", the latter of which was responsible for propelling Fort Minor to mainstream success.
The Rising Tied was met with positive reviews from music critics, who praised Shinoda for straying from mainstream hip hop stereotypes, as well as acclaim from internet and independent music publications. The Rising Tied was a moderate commercial success, peaking at number fifty-one on the Billboard 200.
