Not surprisingly, it's amazing. Phantogram have done it again. I always expect the worst, but they consistently put out new music that is evolved, but still somehow so much of what I love about Phantogram. Bill Murray in particular is wonderful: an optimistically melancholy ballad that will probably get a lot of initial attention for its namesake. Fall In Love is a great example of the maturity of the Phantogram sound. Still them, but fresh and relevant. Great album.
Thoroughly addictive I discovered Phantogram thanks to Pandora Radio, which led me to their first record about a year ago, which I loved. Voices showcases a somewhat different, more mature evolution of the style inherent in Eyelid Movies. There are days when I listen to some of the songs on this album on repeat, if not for the lyrics then just for the complex, interwoven beats, bass, and electronic deliciousness.
Sweet blend and addictive I have not been able to stop listening to this band since I first heard them a couple of months back. I don't normally like female vocals in bands but she sounds great and he sounds good to. A great blend of many types of music that don't over power each other. I like nothing but trouble, Blackout days, Fall in Love, The Day You Died, howling at the moon and I don't blame you.
A true classic Nothing like this I have heard before. The voice of the singer is majestic. The unusual arrangements of songs, the surprises they throw in. fall in love its timeless. The best track has to be nothing but trouble. A inspirational album and I love it. I will be at the ruby lounge on Saturday , just hope they do a signing by fore they get to big to talk to.
Love this band or whatever u wanna call it. Sexy, smooth and grimmy all at the same time. The singer's voice is like chino of the deftones turned into a chick. Lol killer voice love her. And the beats flow like water. Wats better these guys or Chvrches. I cant call it, yet. Mad love. Changedways97
