Resident Alien is the first album by the British glam rock band Spacehog. Released by Sire Records and Elektra Records on 24 October 1995, the album was certified gold on 29 July 1996 and included the hit single "In the Meantime", which reached the top of the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart in the US, and remained there for four weeks. Most of Resident Alien's basic tracks were recorded live in a barn in Woodstock, New York. It was intended to give the album the immediacy of live room recording.
Although Jonny Cragg makes his singing debut in "Skylark" on the band's sophomore LP, The Chinese Album, it is his voice that introduces "Space Is the Place" on Resident Alien. The spoken line in the middle of "Never Coming Down", "Everybody in the world is bent", comes from the 1969 movie The Italian Job. The movie also features jail inmates clapping out the rhythm used in this song. In a tribute to the film Candyman, the chorus to "Candyman" repeats the titular name four times.
"Only a Few" and "In the Meantime" were used in the 1996 movie Libor Karas World Tour, The Bouncing Czech.

Where Have All the Merrymakers Gone? is the debut studio album by American rock band Harvey Danger. It was initially released by the independent record label the Arena Rock Recording Company on July 29, 1997. The second song on the album, "Flagpole Sitta", received extensive airplay in the United States and resulted in the band's initial fame. As the song gained national attention, the album was picked up and reissued by Slash Records, a label associated with London Records. On July 29, 2014, 17 years to the day after the album's initial release, Where Have All the Merrymakers Gone? was re-released, for the first time as a vinyl LP, by No Sleep Records. The album has been described by Fuse as "a definitive indie power pop punk record at a time and place where grunge reigned supreme".
The album was recorded over three different sessions with John Goodmanson at John & Stu's Place in Seattle, WA. "Private Helicopter", "Terminal Annex", and "Carjack Fever" were recorded on March 16, 1996 and released on a commercially produced cassette tape, titled simply Harvey Danger, which was sold by the band at their shows and sent to music industry professionals.

Kudos to You! is the sixth and final studio album by The Presidents of the United States of America. It was released on February 14, 2014.
The album was announced on November 22, 2013. It started as a project through the direct-to-fan platform PledgeMusic, where fans would be able to pledge money on the future album and other rarities such as lyric sheets and other items. The project reached its goal in nine days.
According to their PledgeMusic campaign, The Presidents of the United States of America more or less actively considered These Are the Good Times People to be their final album. Despite this, studio time was booked for October 2013, with nothing really planned. No songs had been written, but apparently the music kept coming. More studio time was thus booked for November.
Also announced as part of this project is a live album, which was released simultaneously. The live album is called Thanks for the Feedback, and features 20 songs from one of the band's performances at their own PUSAFEST '11.
Pledgers were able to pledge money on a limited edition colored vinyl of the album, where the color of the vinyl version was voted on by the pledgers.

An interesting note about this album is that all of the songs were played with normal guitars and bass guitars. This is different from all of the other albums by the band, as they usually played with guitbasses and basitars, which were guitars with fewer strings that were tuned differently from usual.
This album was re-released in 2004 on the band's own label, PUSA Inc. with bonus tracks that included 8 of the 12 songs on the album, as well as 2 other songs, as Chris Ballew originally recorded them between 1989 and 1996.
