Stranger is the third studio album by Swedish rapper Yung Lean. It was released on November 10, 2017, by the record label Year0001, and was executively produced by Yung Lean's Sad Boys crew-mate Gud, along with additional production from Yung Sherman and Whitearmour. The album serves as a departure from Lean's earlier work, moving from the cloud rap influences of Unknown Memory, his debut major label album, and the industrial trap influences behind his sophomore album, Warlord. This change comes in favour of a more pop influenced sound, with the album conforming to more typical conventions of the pop-rap genre. Stranger explores topics such as drug addiction, depression, psychosis, and emotional detachment.
