Fitz is getting progressively worse. First album is fantastic, second is going away from their roots for a more pop-like sound, and this their third is basically just a pop album. It's not terrible, but it's nothing special. I still think there are some good songs in here, and would pick it up if on sale.
Worth the pre-order. My favorites are Handclap and Roll up. I am picky about the music I buy, however Fitz and the Tantrums have never disappointed me. This is my first full album of theirs and I am buying more when I get another Google card.
Fitz does it again!! Both albums have been beyond my expectations, plus their live show was amazing. Fitz and the Tantrums are one of the few truly unique and talented bands making music today.
Just kind of boring. Their older albums were great, I love them (5 stars for both of them). This one sounds like any other current pop album. Nothing unique about it, they really reverted with this one. I regret pre-ordering this one.
I'm a fan of Fitz, but this album feels over produced. I saw them with OneRepublic in July and they sounded fantastic. So if they came out with a live album I'd definitely pick it up.
Fitz and the Tantrums are dead to me. Their first album was amazing, second album I could start to feel them straying from their sound more into the commerical pop genre - but it was still listenable. This third album contains none of what once made this band great. Every song is cookie cutter mass market crap. Hand clap is an ok song and I could tolerate it if the rest of the album wasn't pop filler. RIP Fitz and the Trantrums.
