Sleepless is the fourth studio album by the Swedish metalcore band Adept, released on February 19, 2016 via Napalm Records.
For The Fallen Dreams
Six is the sixth full-length album by the metalcore band For the Fallen Dreams. It was released on February 16, 2018 through Rise Records.
The Plot In You
Dispose is the fourth studio album by The Plot In You, released February 16, 2018 on Fearless Records.
Alien is the fifth studio album by Australian metalcore band Northlane. It was released on 2 August 2019 through UNFD. It was self-produced by the band themselves and recorded at Chris Blancato's Studio in Sydney, although Marcus Bridge's vocals were recorded at Electric Sun Studios in Arndell Park. The album's second single, "Bloodline", shows the group's continuity of slight departure from their metalcore roots and towards a more alternative and experimental sound, as established on their previous releases, Node and Mesmer. It also marks the group's first shift into different genres, as they blended into the album elements of nu metal, industrial metal and EDM. This is the last album to feature their founding bassist Alex Milovic, who only appeared on the track "Vultures".
Holy Hell is the eighth studio album by British metalcore band Architects. It was released on 9 November 2018. It is the follow-up to the band's previous album All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us, and is the first recorded without founding member and main songwriter Tom Searle, following his death in August 2016.
All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us
All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us is the seventh studio album by British metalcore band Architects, released on 27 May 2016 globally through Epitaph Records; with the exception of UNFD in Australia and New Damage in Canada. The album peaked at number 109 on the Billboard 200, and reached number 15 on the UK Albums Chart, making it the band's highest charting album to date.
It is the band's first album to feature guitarist Adam Christianson, following his addition to the band as a full-time member after his tenure as a touring guitarist through 2012 to 2015. Its also the band's final album to include founding guitarist and primary songwriter, Tom Searle, before his passing on 20 August 2016, due to cancer.
Recorded in Gothenburg, Sweden, it was described by Blabbermouth.net as the "heaviest and darkest work to which Architects have ever put their name to [sic]" and "an album that challenges and progresses a genre long thought to have stagnated, and embraces its inspirations at a time when many rock and metal bands seek to hide them in search of mainstream acceptance".
Lost Forever // Lost Together
Lost Forever // Lost Together is the sixth studio album by British metalcore band Architects, released on 11 March 2014 globally through Epitaph Records; with the exception of UNFD in Australia and New Damage in Canada.
Lost Forever // Lost Together was recorded at Swedish recording studio Studio Fredman with producers Henrik Udd and Fredrik Nordström. They were chosen because of Architects' admiration for the production work Nordström and Udd had done with other metal bands like Bring Me the Horizon and At The Gates. In a conscious decision to not mimic the bluntly political themes of Daybreaker, Architects lyricist Tom Searle wrote about his experiences with cancer, though he still looked at the themes of environmentalism, religious extremism and current affairs. Musically, the band put more focus on post-rock influenced spacey elements with the use of electronics and orchestration.
Upon its release, Lost Forever // Lost Together received critical acclaim from critics, achieving an aggregated 82/100 on Metacritic, based on six reviews. The album also charted in six countries' mainstream album charts, four of which it achieved places within the top 40.
Daybreaker (Deluxe Edition)
Daybreaker is the fifth studio album by British metalcore band Architects. It was released on 28 May 2012 in the United Kingdom and most of Europe and on 5 June 2012 in the United States. It was the last album to feature guitarist Tim Hillier-Brook, who left the band on 16 April 2012. Daybreaker was co-produced by the band and Ben Humphreys at Outhouse Studios in Reading, Berkshire, and used the same team and studio that were used for recording the band's third studio album, Hollow Crown. Daybreaker was praised by music writers for its variety.
The album debuted on charts in five countries but failed to appear on any mainstream top 40. To promote it, Architects released five music videos, toured five continents and issued a re-release of the album to commemorate their departure from Century Media Records. Daybreaker received a positive response from critics; some praised its use of atmospheric elements and the return to a heavier style, while others criticised it as uninspired.
The Here And Now
The Here and Now is the fourth full-length studio album by British metalcore band Architects, and was released on 24 January 2011 in the United Kingdom and majority of Europe, and 25 January 2011 in the United States. The album was recorded with producer Steve Evetts at his own studio The Omen Room Studios in California.
Hollow Crown is the third album by British metalcore band, Architects. It was recorded at Outhouse Studios, Reading. On their YouTube channel, there are several videos documenting the band's recording sessions. The album was leaked on the internet on 12 January 2009. Kerrang! magazine gave it their maximum KKKKK rating.
Ruin is the second studio album by British metalcore band Architects. This was the first album to feature vocalist Sam Carter and bassist Alex Dean.
Nightmares is the debut album by the metalcore band Architects. It is the only album featuring the band's original line-up with Matt Johnson on vocals and Tim Lucas on bass.
