I've yet to hear it all, but as a promoter/writer who has loved and followed great "female-fronted" Metal/Prog Metal/Symphonic Metal Bands from around the globe for decades, I can say without hesitation this is one of the BEST. Cammie can hold her own with the likes of Sharon den Adel, Floor Jansen, Amy Lee, Tarja, or any of the other greats from this genre. The rest of the band are what I would call "musician's musicians", bringing stellar talents behind Cammie's rich and passionate vocals. If you're a fan of FF Metal, you will want to add as much of Oceans of Slumber's albums to your playlists as you can. I intend to create a playlist on YouTube devoted to this band, as they are in a "League of Their Own". The title song from "Banished Heart" is a cinematic piece of heart-rending evocative beauty. It should be reviewed as such in addition to the rich neo-classical score behind the song. Why it took until 01/27/18 for me to even HEAR about this band is mind-boggling, as this is as good as ANY band, ANY genre on the planet.
